Live-With #1: Have No Expectations!

This is the place to share your reflections on this first live-with and to comment on others' reflections. Stay curious about your own creativity and see what reveals itself.
So, how did it go?
What expectations did you find you had most often?
Was there one that repeatedly showed up?
How were you able to let them go? Or did you?
Did some stick to you like glue? Did others fall away?
What did you find when you let expectations go and surrendered to the possibilities?

Serious honesty here: I have been so consumed with midterm madness, that what we talked about at our first meeting did not so much as cross my mind! I just realized that a week has passed, and I am so deep in the "pit" that I haven't come up for air.

Hi Carla,
Thanks for posting!
And, thanks for the serious honesty.
You can still check out what it's like in the pit and what expectations you have had this week. Take just a moment, if you can, to reflect on the week and anything that has come to light.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow!
See you then,
Julie

Like, Carla, I've been too busy to put much thought or effort into having an awareness of "no expectations." I did make one change in my routine, though - I'm now walking the "long way" from my car to the office. Instead of dodging cars and hearing noisy construction I walk along quiet, tree-lined streets. I'm arriving at work less tense and hope that this effort will free my mind to think more creatively.

Hi Anne,
Thanks for checking in here on our blog. It looks like today is a good day to look at the VOJ -- the cause behind the stress you, and Carla, and I am sure the others, feel. It really does block our creativity. I;m glad you found a new way to walk to work...you are ahead of the game as that will be part of our class #3.
See you later!
Julie
